A message from Anvi

Anvi founded PeerScholars to help families access affordable tutoring and make her community stronger.

Dear families, students, and community members,

My name is Anvi, and I am the founder of PeerScholars. I am 13 years old, and I started this company because I wanted to help people in a way that would make a real, lasting difference.

I began to notice a problem in my community: many families were struggling — not because they did not care about education, but because quality tutoring was simply too expensive. I would see multiple people having a hard time with money, and it did not feel fair that only some students could get extra help while others were left behind. At the same time, I saw high school students who wanted to contribute to their communities but had limited opportunities to do so.

I believed there had to be a better solution — one that served both younger students who needed academic support and high school students who wanted to lead, teach, and grow. That belief became PeerScholars.

I built a platform that connects K–8 students with verified high school tutors at rates families can actually afford. We match students not only by subject, but by shared interests, so learning feels supportive rather than overwhelming. Every tutor completes training before they begin, and every parent receives clear progress updates through our dashboard.

I started PeerScholars because I want our community to become stronger, fairer, and more connected. When younger students receive the help they need, and when high school students are given the chance to lead, the entire community benefits. That is the future I am working to build — and I invite you to be part of it.

With gratitude,

Anvi
