My name is Anvi, and I founded PeerScholars because I saw families who couldn't afford tutoring — and high schoolers who wanted to lead but had no outlet. I'm a 7th grader at Odle Middle School in the Bellevue School District, and I built a platform where younger students get affordable help at one fair price, and older students get paid, build leadership skills, and gain experience for life.

Every active tutor must accept this before teaching on PeerScholars.
Treat students respectfully. Arrive on time. Only tutor approved subjects/grades. Never request unnecessary personal information. Never ask a student to keep communication secret from their parent. Do not use private social media with younger students. Do not exchange personal phone numbers unless authorized. All sessions are online via Google Meet. Report safety concerns immediately. Maintain professional boundaries. Do not share student information.
